Ever since we saw this suave suitcase pop up in an episode of Succession, it has been living in our heads rent-free. After reviewing the Roy family’s go-to suitcase for myself, I can now confidently say that the people clamoring about “quiet luxury” are definitely onto something. I rave about the suitcase at length in my standalone Carl Friedrik carry-on review, but here’s the gist: This is the most stylish piece of luggage I own, and I was seriously impressed with how it weathered some major travel damage on my part. The fact that it costs about half of what a designer carry-on case would — and makes me look like a high-flying Succession character — just takes the cake.
